RETURN IN TIME TO THE ORIGINAL ERUPTION...
What nature destroyed
It also preserved.
This unique museum experience provides guests with a window into the life and history behind the village of Pompeii.
On August 24, 79 A.D., the city of Pompeii was frozen in time by the catastrophic eruption of Mount Vesuvius. Through nearly 150 artifacts, POMPEII: The Exhibition tells the tale of a city hidden from view and forgotten for centuries. Artifacts – including frescoes, mosaics, and statues – from the sites, rediscovered over 250 years ago, can be seen on display.
From the producers of the King Tut exhibition…
In a media-rich, object-based immersive experience, discover the bustling commercial port and strategic military and trading center that was Pompeii. Authentic artifacts from Pompeii recreate a sense of this world as you discover how its people lived, loved, worked, worshipped, and found entertainment at the height of the Roman Empire.

COMING TO
Guests will experience an up-close look into the life, achievements, devastation and preservation of ancient Pompeii. The sudden disaster that destroyed Pompeii also preserved it and over time archaeologists have uncovered a unique record of its daily life — roads, buildings, municipal services, paintings, mosaics, artifacts, and even preserved bodies. Ongoing excavations at the site provide an ever-evolving picture of everyday life at the height of the Roman Empire.
